About RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION

  • RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION contains the active ingredient Amivantamab. This medicine is a type of targeted therapy used to fight cancer. It belongs to a group of medicines called bispecific antibodies, which are designed to help your body's immune system recognize and attack cancer cells. RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION is specifically used to treat a type of lung cancer known as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It is given to patients whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) and has specific changes in a gene called EGFR. This treatment is typically used when surgery is not an option and the cancer has continued to grow or has come back after trying other cancer treatments.
  • You should not receive RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION if you have a known allergy to amivantamab or any other ingredients in this medicine. Before starting treatment, it's important to tell your doctor if you have ever had inflammation in your lungs (also called pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease) or any other lung problems. During treatment, watch out for signs like sudden trouble breathing, a new or worsening cough, or fever, as these could be symptoms of lung inflammation. If you experience any of these, contact your doctor right away. RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in children or young people under 18 years of age.
  • Make sure to inform your doctor about any existing health conditions, especially if you have or have had kidney problems, liver problems, or lung problems. RYBREVANT 350MG INJECTION is given as an injection into a vein by a healthcare professional. Your doctor or nurse will monitor you closely, especially during the first doses, for any reactions. Common side effects you might experience include skin rash, inflammation around the nails, pain in muscles or bones, feeling short of breath, nausea, feeling tired (fatigue), swelling, sore mouth, cough, constipation, and vomiting. It's important to discuss any side effects you experience with your doctor or nurse, as they can help manage them. This medicine can be harmful to a developing baby. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, tell your doctor. Women who could become pregnant should use effective birth control during treatment and for a period after the last dose, as advised by their doctor.
