Always inform your doctor about any side effects you experience.

Spasmo Proxyvon Plus is used for the short-term treatment of moderate to moderately severe pain associated with smooth muscle spasm, such as abdominal cramps, biliary or ureteric colic, and certain gynecological conditions, when a doctor considers this combination appropriate. It combines an antispasmodic (dicyclomine) with analgesics (paracetamol and tramadol) to relieve both spasm and pain.
Spasmo Proxyvon Plus works through three components. Dicyclomine relaxes smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract, reducing spasm and cramping. Paracetamol acts mainly in the central nervous system to reduce pain and fever. Tramadol is a centrally acting opioid-like analgesic that binds to specific receptors and also affects neurotransmitters involved in pain signaling, thereby decreasing the perception of pain.
Spasmo Proxyvon Plus contains tramadol, which is an opioid-like analgesic with potential for dependence, misuse, and abuse, especially with prolonged use or use at higher than prescribed doses. When taken strictly as prescribed for a short duration, the risk is lower, but it is not zero. The medicine should never be used without a prescription, should not be taken for longer than advised, and should not be shared with others.
No. Spasmo Proxyvon Plus is not intended for all types of pain or for mild, self-limiting pain such as simple headaches or minor muscle aches. It is reserved for specific moderate to moderately severe pain associated with spasm, and only when a doctor judges that the benefits outweigh the risks. Using it for minor pain or without medical supervision increases the risk of side effects, dependence, and serious complications.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, abdominal discomfort, and sometimes headache or blurred vision. Some people may experience difficulty in urination or mild skin rashes. These effects are usually mild and transient, but if they are severe, persistent, or worrying, you should contact your doctor for advice.
Spasmo Proxyvon Plus is generally contraindicated in people with known allergy to dicyclomine, paracetamol, tramadol, or any excipient in the formulation; severe liver or kidney impairment; uncontrolled epilepsy or a history of seizures related to tramadol; severe respiratory depression; acute alcohol intoxication; and in patients taking certain medicines that strongly interact with tramadol, such as some monoamine oxidase inhibitors. It may also be unsuitable for people with severe heart disease, narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, or a history of substance use disorder. A doctor must evaluate individual risks before prescribing.
Use of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus during pregnancy is generally not recommended unless clearly needed and prescribed by a specialist after careful risk–benefit assessment. Tramadol can cross the placenta and may affect the fetus, particularly if used in late pregnancy, potentially causing neonatal respiratory depression or withdrawal symptoms. If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or become pregnant while taking this medicine, you should inform your doctor immediately and not continue the medicine without medical advice.
Spasmo Proxyvon Plus is usually not recommended during breastfeeding. Tramadol and its metabolites can pass into breast milk and may cause excessive sleepiness, poor feeding, or breathing problems in the nursing infant, especially in newborns or premature babies. If treatment with this combination is considered essential, your doctor may advise close monitoring of the infant or recommend temporarily discontinuing breastfeeding. Do not use this medicine while breastfeeding without explicit medical guidance.
Alcohol should be strictly avoided while taking Spasmo Proxyvon Plus. Both tramadol and alcohol depress the central nervous system, and their combination can markedly increase drowsiness, impair judgment, and raise the risk of respiratory depression, low blood pressure, and other serious adverse effects. Alcohol also adds to the liver burden when combined with paracetamol, increasing the risk of liver damage.
Yes. Spasmo Proxyvon Plus can cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, and reduced alertness due to the central effects of tramadol and the anticholinergic action of dicyclomine. You should not drive, operate machinery, or perform tasks that require full concentration and quick reactions until you know how the medicine affects you and your doctor confirms it is safe to do so.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one, as this increases the risk of side effects, including serious reactions related to tramadol and paracetamol.
Overdose may present with extreme drowsiness, confusion, shallow or slowed breathing, pinpoint or very small pupils, seizures, cold or clammy skin, severe nausea or vomiting, and in severe cases loss of consciousness or coma. Because paracetamol overdose can cause delayed but serious liver damage, symptoms such as right upper abdominal pain, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin or eyes may appear later. Suspected overdose is a medical emergency and requires immediate hospital care, even if the person initially feels well.
