How STUGERON 25MG TABLET 25'S Works

• Cinnarizine relaxes and widens the small blood vessels supplying the inner ear, which houses the structures responsible for balance and hearing. This improved blood flow supports the delicate structures of the inner ear and can ease the vertigo, dizziness and related symptoms that occur when this blood supply is reduced.
• Cinnarizine also has antihistamine activity, which contributes to its effect in reducing the nausea and discomfort of motion sickness.

Drowsiness, nausea and weight gain are commonly reported. Most side effects are mild and settle as the body adjusts to the medicine. Yellowing of the skin or eyes, persistent fatigue, fever, unexplained weakness, or a red, lumpy, itchy rash can indicate a serious reaction and need prompt medical attention. Unusual, involuntary movements or new tremor should also be reported to the prescriber.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, below 25°C unless the pack states otherwise, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Take the tablet with food to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Avoid driving or operating machinery until the effect of the medicine is known
• Avoid alcohol, since it can add to drowsiness
• Do not stop this medicine suddenly without checking with the prescriber
• Seek medical advice for jaundice, persistent fatigue, fever, or a red, itchy rash
• Tell the prescriber about Parkinson's disease, peptic ulcer, asthma or low blood pressure before starting

• Stugeron should be taken with food, which reduces the chance of stomach upset and can improve absorption.
• Alcohol adds to the drowsiness this medicine can cause and is best avoided.
