How SUDARSHAN GHANVATI (ZANDU) TABLET 100'S Works

• Several of the herbs in this formulation, including Kutaki and Guduchi, are traditionally described as having antipyretic (fever-reducing) and immune-supportive properties in Ayurveda. Sunthi, Maricha and Pippali are traditionally used as digestive stimulants, while Nimba is traditionally included for its bitter, cleansing properties.
• Haridra and Daruharidra are traditionally valued for their supportive action during inflammation, and Triphala (Haritaki, Bibhitaki and Amalaki) is a classical combination used to support digestion and general detoxification in Ayurveda. Together, these herbs are traditionally intended to support the body's own response during fever and recovery from illness, without acting as a specific drug against one organism.

Mild digestive disturbances, such as nausea, abdominal discomfort or diarrhoea, are the most commonly reported effects. A burning sensation or heartburn can occur in some individuals, since several ingredients are traditionally considered heating in Ayurveda. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs, including a rash, itching or hives.

• If you miss a dose of Sudarshan Ghanvati, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children.

• Take the tablet after meals with lukewarm water
• Seek medical evaluation for fever, particularly if it is high or persistent, and do not rely on this tablet alone
• Follow a light, easily digestible diet and stay well hydrated while unwell
• Tell the doctor about liver or kidney disease before starting
• Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding
• Discontinue and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen after a few days

• Sudarshan Ghan Vati is generally taken after meals. A light, easily digestible diet, avoiding heavy, oily or spicy food, is traditionally advised alongside its use.
