How SUPRA PLUS TABLET 15'S Works

• The B-complex vitamins, including B12 and folic acid, are needed for red blood cell formation and for nerve function, and support the body's energy metabolism from food. Iron is a component of haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen.
• Vitamin C, vitamin E and lycopene act as antioxidants, helping to limit cell damage from everyday oxidative stress. Calcium and vitamin D-dependent processes support bone mineralisation, while zinc, copper, selenium and other trace elements support immune function and normal cell metabolism.

This combination is generally well tolerated. Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite or a change in taste can occur, particularly if taken on an empty stomach. The iron content can darken stools, which is expected and not a cause for concern on its own. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs. Persistent vomiting, diarrhoea or unusual fatigue should be reported to a doctor.

• If you miss a dose of Supra Plus Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, out of the reach of children and pets. Keep them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Take the tablet with a meal to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset
• Leave a gap of a few hours between this tablet and antacids or certain antibiotics
• Avoid combining this supplement with other multivitamin, iron or calcium products without checking the total daily amount
• Tell the doctor about any kidney or liver condition before starting
• Keep the tablets away from children, since the iron content can be harmful in overdose
• Seek medical advice for persistent nausea, vomiting or unusual fatigue

• Taking this tablet with a meal can improve absorption of some nutrients and reduce the chance of stomach upset.
• Tea and coffee taken at the same time can reduce iron absorption from this supplement, so leaving a gap between them is advisable.
