About TEMOGET-20 CAPSULE 5'S

TEMOGET-20 CAPSULE 5'S contains the active ingredient temozolomide and belongs to the class of medications known as Antitumor agents. It is prescribed to treat brain cancer, such as glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, including glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma in patients older than three years. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are aggressive brain cancers with varying survival rates. Anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with TEMOGET-20 CAPSULE 5'S or radiotherapy post-biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and TEMOGET-20 CAPSULE 5'S, continued as maintenance therapy.
This medication works by interfering with the growth of cancer cells, ultimately slowing down or stopping the spread of the tumor. Regular monitoring by your healthcare provider is essential during treatment to assess its effectiveness and manage potential side effects.
