About TORLEVA XR 500MG TABLET 10'S
- Levetiracetam, an anti-epileptic medication used to treat seizures, is present in Torleva XR 500mg (fits). It is used in conjunction with other drugs to treat particular types of seizures in epileptic adults and kids. It lessens excessive cerebral excitation. When the electrical signals and chemicals in the brain cells are not functioning properly, seizures can occur. Levetiracetam functions by binding to SV2A, a protein found on the surface of brain nerve cells. This stops the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures and inhibits the transmission of nerve signals in the brain.
