Inform your doctor if you have diabetes because the drug may cause hyperglycemia in the patient. So, it is recommended to be cautious while taking the medicine.
Drugs like ketoconazole (against fungal infections), macrolide antibiotics, diltiazem (high blood pressure and chest pain treatment), digoxin (used for the treatment of irregularities of heartbeat and heart failure), dabigatran etexilate (used to thin the blood), metformin (used to treat diabetes), sulfasalazine ( inflammatory bowel disease or rheumatoid arthritis), barbiturates (used to treat epilepsy/seizures and some sleep disorders), rifampicin (against tuberculosis) and desmopressin may alter the drug action. So, it is recommended to discuss your prescribed and non-prescribed medicine with your doctor.
