If you are taking birth control pills, dose of VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.
VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food.
One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.
VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S, or theophylline. Along with that, patients suffering from low blood pressure, irregular heart beats or rhythm or history of heart attack, liver disease or kidney disorder should avoid taking VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S.
VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S comprises of theophylline-7 acetate and ambroxol which makes it effective in making the mucus more fluid and clearing the airways easily, thereby making breathing easier. This effect of VENTIDOX A TABLET 10'S works as an added advantage over theophylline. Moreover, it also reduces the need for other medicine used to treat asthma, like salbutamol.
