Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea and constipation are the most commonly reported effects, particularly if the tablet is taken on an empty stomach. Headache and dizziness have also been reported. An allergic reaction to any ingredient is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs. Persistent or severe gastrointestinal symptoms should be reported to a doctor.

Allergies

Vitagold is used to prevent and treat vitamin and mineral deficiency, and to supplement dietary intake during illness, convalescence or increased nutritional need.
Each tablet contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B9, B12, C, D3 and E, along with zinc, manganese and copper.
It is generally well tolerated at the recommended amount, but long-term, unsupervised use is not advised, since fat-soluble vitamins can accumulate in the body. Periodic review with a doctor is worthwhile for extended use.
This is not generally advised without checking the total daily amount with a doctor or pharmacist, since combining supplements can lead to more of certain vitamins and minerals being taken than intended.
