How VOVERAN SR 75MG TABLET 10'S Works

• Diclofenac blocks cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which reduces the body's production of prostaglandins, the chemical substances responsible for pain, swelling and inflammation. This helps ease pain and reduce inflammation at the site of the underlying condition.
• The sustained-release formulation releases diclofenac gradually, maintaining a steady level of the medicine in the bloodstream over an extended period. This provides longer-lasting relief from a single tablet compared with an immediate-release formulation, which is well suited to ongoing conditions such as arthritis where steady, continuous control is more helpful than a short, fast-acting effect.

Nausea, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhoea, headache and dizziness are the most commonly reported effects. Fluid retention, raised blood pressure and mildly raised liver enzymes have also been reported. Black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, sudden breathlessness, chest pain, or a severe skin reaction need immediate medical attention, since these can indicate serious gastrointestinal, cardiovascular or skin complications.

• If you miss a dose of VOVERAN SR 75MG TABLET 10'S, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, below 25°C unless the pack states otherwise, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children.

• Take with or just after food to reduce the chance of stomach upset
• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush, chew or break it
• Avoid alcohol and other NSAIDs during treatment
• Tell the prescriber about any heart, kidney or liver condition before starting
• Seek immediate medical help for black or bloody stools, severe stomach pain, chest pain or sudden breathlessness

• Voveran SR is best taken with or just after food, which reduces the chance of stomach upset. A high-fat meal may delay absorption. Alcohol should be avoided during treatment, since it can increase the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding.
