About XEOMIN 100IU INJECTION

  • XEOMIN 100IU INJECTION contains the active ingredient Botulinum Toxin Type A. This medicine belongs to a group called neurotoxins. It works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the area where it's injected. This can help relax muscles that are too tight, reduce excessive sweating, or even block pain signals depending on the condition being treated. XEOMIN 100IU INJECTION is used for various medical conditions. For chronic migraines, it can help prevent headaches by blocking pain signals. When injected into the skin, it can reduce excessive underarm sweating by affecting the sweat glands. If injected into the bladder wall, it can help prevent unexpected bladder contractions and reduce symptoms of urinary incontinence or an overactive bladder. This treatment is administered directly into the affected muscles, the bladder wall, or deep into the skin by a healthcare professional.
  • XEOMIN 100IU INJECTION is used to treat muscle stiffness and spasms in adults and children aged two years and older, including those with cerebral palsy. It helps prevent headaches in adults suffering from chronic migraines (15 or more headache days per month). It also reduces leakage of urine (urinary incontinence) and other symptoms caused by an overactive bladder in adults. Additionally, it can control severe underarm sweating when other treatments haven't worked and can temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. Do not use XEOMIN 100IU INJECTION if you are allergic to botulinum toxin type A or any of its other ingredients.
