Before starting treatment with XTANDI 40MG SOFT CAPSULE 112'S, your healthcare provider will recommend tests for Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests. This blood test measures the level of PSA, a protein produced by the prostate gland that can be elevated in men with prostate cancer. PSA levels can help monitor the progression of the disease and the response to treatment. Other tests also include liver function tests and complete blood count(CBC).
If you missed taking a dose of XTANDI 40MG SOFT CAPSULE 112'S, skip this dose. Do not take two capsules to make up for the missed dose. Report to your healthcare provider right away if you missed taking more than two doses of this drug.
XTANDI 40MG SOFT CAPSULE 112'S is not recommended for people who are allergic to this drug, and its ingredients. Also, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid taking it, because this drug can harm an unborn baby or pass into breast milk.
It is not recommended to smoke cigarettes while on treatment with XTANDI 40MG SOFT CAPSULE 112'S as smoking can reduce the concentration of this drug in the body.
Watch out for symptoms like fatigue, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, severe headache and seek immediate medical attention from a nearby healthcare facility.

While using XTANDI 40MG SOFT CAPSULE 112'S, use an effective moisturizer for skin dryness. Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet. Store the drug in the original package at room temperature (25°C), away from children and pets. Take the dose at the scheduled time; if you miss a dose, contact your doctor. Avoid driving or operating heavy machines if you feel dizzy, nauseated, or tired.
