Allergies
UnsafeDo not use if allergic to aceclofenac or paracetamol.
Zerodol PT Tablet is a combination medicine used to relieve pain and muscle spasms. It is commonly prescribed for conditions like back pain, neck pain, joint pain (e.g., osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis), and muscle injuries where pain is accompanied by muscle stiffness or spasms.
Zerodol PT Tablet contains three active ingredients: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), and Thiocolchicoside.
Aceclofenac works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, reducing pain and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that works on the central nervous system to relieve muscle stiffness and spasms. Together, they provide comprehensive relief from pain and muscle discomfort.
Take Zerodol PT Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually recommended to take it with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet; swallow it whole with a glass of water.
The dosage depends on your condition, age, and response to treatment. Typically, it is prescribed once or twice a day. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea, dizziness, and drowsiness. These are usually mild and temporary. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
Serious side effects are rare but can include liver damage (due to Paracetamol), kidney problems, stomach ulcers or bleeding (due to Aceclofenac), allergic reactions (rash, swelling), and blood disorders. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe abdominal pain, black stools, yellowing of eyes/skin, severe rash, or difficulty breathing.
Zerodol PT Tablet should not be taken by individuals with a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, severe kidney or liver disease, severe heart failure, or a known allergy to Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, Thiocolchicoside, or other NSAIDs. It is also generally not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy.
It is generally not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester, as it may harm the fetus. For breastfeeding mothers, it is advisable to consult a doctor, as components may pass into breast milk. Your doctor will weigh the benefits against the risks.
It is strongly advised to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Zerodol PT Tablet. Alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding and liver damage, especially when combined with Aceclofenac and Paracetamol.
Yes, Zerodol PT Tablet, especially due to Thiocolchicoside, can cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. If you experience these effects, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center. Overdose can lead to severe liver damage (from Paracetamol), kidney failure, or other serious complications. Even if you feel well, medical evaluation is crucial.
Store Zerodol PT Tablet at room temperature, away from direct light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not freeze the medicine.
No, Zerodol PT Tablet is not considered a habit-forming or addictive medicine. However, it should only be used for the duration prescribed by your doctor.
Yes, Zerodol PT Tablet can be prescribed for dental pain, especially if the pain is accompanied by inflammation or muscle spasm (e.g., jaw muscle stiffness). However, it should only be used under the guidance of a dentist or doctor.
While there are no specific dietary restrictions, it's generally advised to take Zerodol PT with food or milk to minimize stomach upset. Avoid excessive intake of caffeine as it might worsen some side effects.
Zerodol PT Tablet contains Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Thiocolchicoside, used for pain and muscle spasms. Zerodol P Tablet typically contains only Aceclofenac and Paracetamol, primarily used for pain and fever, without the muscle relaxant component. The choice depends on the specific condition requiring treatment.
