Allergies
UnsafeDo not take Zerodol S Tablet if you are allergic to aceclofenac, paracetamol, or any other NSAIDs.
Zerodol S Tablet is a combination medicine primarily used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. It also helps reduce swelling and promotes faster healing.
Zerodol S Tablet contains two active ingredients: Aceclofenac and Serratiopeptidase.
Aceclofenac works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that helps break down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation, reducing swelling and promoting healing.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea, heartburn, and dizziness. If any of these persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
It is generally recommended to take Zerodol S Tablet with food or after meals to minimize the risk of stomach upset and indigestion.
Long-term use of Zerodol S Tablet should be avoided unless specifically advised by a doctor, as NSAIDs can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and cardiovascular issues.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Zerodol S Tablet, as it can increase the risk of stomach irritation and liver problems, especially with Aceclofenac.
Zerodol S Tablet is generally not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester, and during breastfeeding due to potential risks to the baby. Always consult your doctor before taking any medication during these periods.
Zerodol S Tablet is generally not recommended for children unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician, as its safety and efficacy in pediatric populations have not been well-established.
Other brands containing Aceclofenac and Serratiopeptidase include Hifenac-S, Enzomac-A, Acenac-SP, and Seradic-Ace, among others. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist for suitable alternatives.
While not a common side effect, some individuals may experience dizziness or drowsiness. If you feel drowsy, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
Store Zerodol S Tablet at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Yes, like other NSAIDs, Zerodol S Tablet should be used with caution in patients with pre-existing kidney or liver conditions. Regular monitoring of kidney and liver function may be advised by your doctor during prolonged use.
In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or contact your doctor. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, or difficulty breathing.
No, Zerodol S Tablet is not an antibiotic. It is a painkiller and anti-inflammatory medicine.
