Like all medicines, ZEVERT PVG TABLET 10'S can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. It's important to be aware of these potential effects and consult your doctor or pharmacist if they bother you or do not go away. **Common Side Effects (May affect up to 1 in 10 people):** * **Digestive Discomfort:** You might experience stomach upset, nausea (feeling sick), indigestion, abdominal pain, or diarrhea. Taking the tablet with food may help reduce these effects. * **Headache:** Some individuals may develop a headache. * **Dizziness/Vertigo:** Occasionally, you might feel dizzy or experience a worsening of vertigo. * **Drowsiness or Sleep Changes:** Feeling sleepy, or conversely, experiencing insomnia (difficulty sleeping) or restlessness. * **Nervousness or Anxiety:** Some users may feel more nervous or anxious. **Uncommon or Less Common Side Effects (May affect up to 1 in 100 people or less):** * **Skin Reactions:** Allergic skin reactions like rashes, itching, or hives (urticaria) can occur. * **Weight Changes:** A slight increase in weight has been reported in some cases. * **General Weakness:** Feeling unusually tired or weak (asthenia). * **Heart Palpitations:** A sensation of a racing or pounding heart. * **Increased Bleeding Risk:** Due to the Ginkgo Biloba component, there is a rare but important risk of increased bleeding, especially if you are taking blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder. Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking. **When to Seek Medical Attention:** If you experience any severe side effects, signs of an allergic reaction (like swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing), or unusual bleeding/bruising, seek immediate medical attention. Always discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider.

Allergies
UnsafeZevert PVG Tablet is unsafe if you have a known allergy to Betahistine or any other ingredients in the tablet. Symptoms may include rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction.
Zevert PVG Tablet is primarily used to treat symptoms associated with Meniere's disease, such as vertigo (dizziness), ringing in the ears (tinnitus), and hearing loss. It is also used to manage other forms of vertigo and associated cognitive symptoms.
Zevert PVG Tablet typically contains a combination of Betahistine, Ginkgo Biloba extract, and Piracetam.
Betahistine improves blood flow to the inner ear, reducing pressure. Ginkgo Biloba extract has antioxidant properties and may improve cerebral blood flow. Piracetam enhances cognitive function and neuroprotection. Together, they help alleviate vertigo symptoms and improve associated cognitive functions.
Common side effects may include nausea, indigestion, headache, skin rash, and gastrointestinal discomfort. These are usually mild and temporary.
Serious side effects are rare but can include severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling), difficulty breathing, or severe stomach pain. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these.
It should be avoided by individuals with phaeochromocytoma (a rare tumour of the adrenal gland), active peptic ulcer, or known hypersensitivity to any of its components. Patients with bleeding disorders or severe kidney impairment should use it with caution and under medical supervision.
The dosage varies based on the condition and individual response. It is crucial to follow your doctor's prescribed dose and duration. Do not alter the dose without consulting your physician.
It is generally recommended to take Zevert PVG Tablet with or after food to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort. Always follow your doctor's specific instructions.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
An overdose can lead to more severe side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, or seizures. In case of a suspected overdose, seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison control center.
Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, herbal supplements, and vitamins. Betahistine can interact with antihistamines. Piracetam may interact with anticoagulant drugs. Ginkgo Biloba can increase the risk of bleeding with blood thinners.
Zevert PVG Tablet is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding as there is limited data on its safety in these populations. Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
Zevert PVG Tablet may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals. If you experience these side effects, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
The time to see improvement can vary depending on the individual and the severity of the condition. Some people may experience relief within a few days, while others might need several weeks of consistent use. Continue taking it as prescribed by your doctor.
Store Zevert PVG Tablet at room temperature, away from direct light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use expired medicine.
Yes, the active ingredients (Betahistine, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam) are also found in various other combination medicines from different manufacturers, often prescribed for vertigo, tinnitus, and cognitive support. Your doctor can recommend alternatives if needed.
