While ZINCOREN EYE DROPS are generally well-tolerated, some individuals may experience side effects. Common temporary side effects include a mild stinging or burning sensation in the eye, temporary blurred vision, redness, or irritation. Less common but more serious side effects can include persistent eye pain, significant changes in vision, increased sensitivity to light, or signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling (especially of the face, tongue, or throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing. If any of these severe or persistent side effects occur, discontinue use and consult your doctor immediately. This list is not exhaustive, and other side effects may occur.

Allergies
UnsafeDo not use Zincoren Eye Drops if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Discontinue use and consult your doctor immediately if you experience signs of an allergic reaction.
ZINCOREN EYE DROPS are primarily used to relieve minor eye irritation, redness, and discomfort caused by environmental factors like dust, smoke, or excessive screen time. They may also act as a mild astringent.
While the exact formulation can vary by manufacturer, ZINCOREN EYE DROPS typically contain an active ingredient like Zinc Sulfate, which acts as an astringent, along with other inactive ingredients to maintain stability and sterility.
Always wash your hands before use. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid to create a pouch, and instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by your doctor or as per the product label. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any other surface. Close your eye gently for a few moments.
Common side effects may include temporary stinging, burning, itching, mild irritation, or blurred vision immediately after instillation. These usually subside quickly.
ZINCOREN EYE DROPS are primarily formulated for irritation and redness, not as a lubricant for chronic dry eyes. While they might offer some temporary comfort, for persistent dry eye symptoms, it's advisable to use specific lubricating eye drops or consult an ophthalmologist.
It is generally recommended to remove contact lenses before applying ZINCOREN EYE DROPS. Wait at least 15 minutes after instilling the drops before reinserting your contact lenses to avoid potential discoloration or buildup on the lenses.
Store the bottle at room temperature (below 30°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use and out of reach of children.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it's almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
Overdose with eye drops is unlikely with topical application. If you accidentally instill too many drops, simply blink a few times to allow the excess to drain. If the drops are accidentally ingested, or if you experience severe irritation or unusual symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.
While generally considered safe for older children under adult supervision, it is always best to consult a pediatrician or an eye specialist before using ZINCOREN EYE DROPS in young children, especially infants.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using ZINCOREN EYE DROPS. Although systemic absorption from eye drops is minimal, it's important to weigh the potential benefits against any possible risks.
To prevent contamination and maintain efficacy, it is recommended to discard ZINCOREN EYE DROPS 30 days after opening the bottle, even if there is still liquid remaining. Write the opening date on the bottle for reference.
Systemic drug interactions are unlikely as absorption from eye drops is minimal. However, if you are using other eye drops, instill them at least 5-10 minutes apart to ensure each medication is absorbed properly and to prevent washout.
While ZINCOREN EYE DROPS contain zinc (likely Zinc Sulfate) as an active ingredient, similar to other zinc-containing eye drops from different manufacturers (e.g., ZYCOL, ZINCOX), there might be variations in concentration, preservatives, or other inactive ingredients. Always read the specific product label and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have concerns.
Avoid using ZINCOREN EYE DROPS if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Consult your doctor if you have severe eye pain, vision changes, continuous redness or irritation, or if your condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours. It's also generally not recommended for use with certain eye conditions like glaucoma without specific medical advice.
ZINCOREN EYE DROPS can cause temporary blurred vision immediately after instillation, which usually clears up quickly. If you experience persistent or significant blurry vision, severe eye pain, or other visual disturbances, discontinue use and consult your eye doctor immediately.
