Allergies
CautionDo not use ZINGISOL LOTION 15 ML if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions like rash or itching.
Zingisol Lotion 15 ML is primarily used to treat and prevent gingivitis (inflammation of the gums), periodontitis, mouth ulcers, and other oral infections. It helps in maintaining oral hygiene by reducing plaque and bacteria in the mouth.
The active ingredients in Zingisol Lotion are Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Zinc Sulphate.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate is an antiseptic that kills harmful bacteria and inhibits plaque formation. Zinc Sulphate aids in healing oral tissues, reducing inflammation, and also possesses antiseptic properties, together providing comprehensive oral hygiene and healing.
Typically, it is diluted with water and used as a mouth rinse. Follow your dentist's or doctor's instructions regarding the exact dilution ratio and frequency of use. Do not swallow the solution.
Common side effects may include temporary staining of teeth and tongue, altered taste sensation, or a burning sensation in the mouth. These usually subside after discontinuing use.
Use in children should only be under the guidance of a dentist or doctor, as the dosage may need adjustment and to ensure they can properly rinse and not swallow the solution.
If a small amount is accidentally swallowed, it is generally not harmful, but it may cause stomach upset. If a large amount is swallowed or if symptoms persist, seek medical attention immediately.
Consult your doctor or dentist before using Zingisol Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. While topical oral use is generally considered low risk, professional advice is recommended.
The duration of use depends on the condition being treated and your dentist's recommendation. Typically, it's used for a specific period for acute conditions, or as advised for maintenance. Do not use for prolonged periods without consulting a professional.
While it helps with gum health, some individuals with highly sensitive teeth or gums might experience a temporary burning sensation. If discomfort is severe, consult your dentist.
It's advisable to rinse your mouth thoroughly with water after brushing teeth with regular toothpaste (which often contains anionic agents) before using Zingisol Lotion, as some ingredients can reduce its effectiveness. Avoid using other antiseptic mouthwashes simultaneously unless advised by a dentist.
Store Zingisol Lotion at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not freeze.
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Yes, there are other oral rinses or mouthwashes available that contain Chlorhexidine Gluconate and/or Zinc Sulphate from different manufacturers under various brand names, used for similar oral conditions.
Yes, by reducing the bacteria that cause plaque and gum inflammation, Zingisol Lotion can indirectly help in improving bad breath, especially if the halitosis is linked to gum disease or oral infections.
