Zole F Skin Ointment contains two active ingredients: Fluocinolone acetonide and Miconazole nitrate. Fluocinolone acetonide is used to treat skin diseases that produce redness, itching, swelling, or other discomfort. Miconazole nitrate is an azole antifungal that acts by inhibiting the growth of the fungus responsible for the infection.
This Zole F Skin Ointment is solely for external use. Use it according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. After cleaning and drying the afflicted region, apply the cream. Unless your hands are the affected region, wash your hands after applying.
Most side effects are harmless and will go away as your body adjusts to the medication. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you are concerned.
