ZORYL MF 2MG TABLET is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
ZORYL MF 2MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin. Glimepiride belongs to a class of drugs called sulfonylureas. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas, which lowers blood sugar levels. Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called biguanides. It works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, decreasing absorption of glucose from the intestines, and increasing insulin sensitivity.
Common side effects of ZORYL MF 2MG TABLET include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite.
The safety of ZORYL MF 2MG TABLET during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it should not be used during pregnancy unless considered clearly necessary by the doctor.
