  • AFINITOR 5MG TABLET 10'S is an antineoplastic drug in the mTOR kinase inhibitor class, featuring everolimus as its active ingredient. It is prescribed for advanced breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. It also treats subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (tumors in the brain's ventricles). Maintaining good oral hygiene with regular dental check-ups is crucial during treatment, as this medication can induce mouth sores or ulcers. It's frequently used alongside cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent, for treating subependymal giant cell astrocytoma. AFINITOR 5MG TABLET 10'S is also used in some patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) to treat kidney tumors called angiomyolipomas when surgery is not immediately needed.
  • Before starting AFINITOR 5MG TABLET 10'S, be aware that this treatment increases your susceptibility to bacterial or viral infections.
