• ALLERBLIS M Tablet is a combination medication designed to alleviate symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and other allergic conditions. It combines the antihistaminic properties of bilastine with the leukotriene-inhibiting action of montelukast. By targeting multiple pathways involved in the allergic response, ALLERBLIS M offers comprehensive relief from allergy symptoms.
• Bilastine, the antihistamine component of ALLERBLIS M, works by selectively blocking histamine H1 receptors. Histamine is a chemical mediator released by the body during an allergic reaction. When histamine binds to its receptors, it triggers a cascade of events that lead to typical allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. Bilastine competitively binds to H1 receptors, preventing histamine from binding and thus inhibiting its effects.
