Metformin primarily decreases hepatic glucose production and decreases intestinal absorption of glucose. It works mainly by inhibiting glucose production in the liver.
DAPEFY M XR 10MG/500MG TABLET 7'S is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults aged 18 years and older.
Both Dapagliflozin and Metformin can potentially contribute to weight loss in individuals with type 2 diabetes. Dapagliflozin can lead to a mild reduction in body weight by increasing urinary glucose excretion, while Metformin may help with modest weight loss by reducing appetite and improving insulin sensitivity.
The effects of Dapagliflozin and Metformin may vary from person to person. It may take several days to weeks to observe significant improvements in blood sugar control. It is important to continue taking the medication as prescribed and attend regular follow-up appointments with your healthcare provider.
There are no known interactions of DAPEFY M XR 10MG/500MG TABLET 7'S with other drugs.
