Liver Function
CautionASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If you are taking birth control pills, dose of ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.
ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food.
One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.
ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S, or theophylline. Along with that, patients suffering from low blood pressure, irregular heart beats or rhythm or history of heart attack, liver disease or kidney disorder should avoid taking ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S.
ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S comprises of theophylline-7 acetate and ambroxol which makes it effective in making the mucus more fluid and clearing the airways easily, thereby making breathing easier. This effect of ASTHACE SR 200MG TABLET 10'S works as an added advantage over theophylline. Moreover, it also reduces the need for other medicine used to treat asthma, like salbutamol.
