If you are taking birth control pills, dose of BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S need to be reduced as birth control pills may interfere with clearance of BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S, increasing its levels and chances of side effects.
BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S should be taken strictly as advised by the doctor. To avoid an upset stomach it should be taken with food.
One should take proper caution if you are taking furosemide along with BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S. This is because the combined use of these medicines may decrease the levels of potassium. Hence, regular monitoring of potassium levels is required.
BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S should be avoided in patients who are allergic to ambroxol, BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S, or theophylline. Along with that, patients suffering from low blood pressure, irregular heart beats or rhythm or history of heart attack, liver disease or kidney disorder should avoid taking BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S.
BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S comprises of theophylline-7 acetate and ambroxol which makes it effective in making the mucus more fluid and clearing the airways easily, thereby making breathing easier. This effect of BIG BRO OD TABLET 10'S works as an added advantage over theophylline. Moreover, it also reduces the need for other medicine used to treat asthma, like salbutamol.
