How DOXY 1 LDR FORTE CAPSULE 10'S Works

• Doxycycline binds to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit and inhibits protein synthesis, limiting growth of susceptible bacteria. Lactobacillus spores are included as a probiotic component. The specific effect of this combination on gut symptoms was not established in the sources reviewed. Antibiotic activity depends on the organism’s susceptibility and adequate treatment chosen for the infection. The combination does not act against viruses.
