The use of FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S in children is generally not recommended, as its safety and effectiveness in pediatric populations have yet to be established. However, in specific cases, a doctor may prescribe it if they determine the benefits outweigh the risks.
FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S should be avoided by individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to penicillin, cephem, or carbapenem drugs. Patients with a family history of atopy (allergic conditions) and those with kidney (renal) insufficiency should also exercise caution.
Patients with kidney insufficiency should use FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S with caution. Dosing adjustments or longer intervals between doses might be necessary.
FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S may interact with certain medications, such as furosemide, and sodium valproate which can affect the levels of this drug in the body. Inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are taking.
Some common side effects of FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S include diarrhea, loose bowel movements, and gastrointestinal disturbances. If these symptoms occur, it may be necessary to discontinue the medication.
There is no known interaction of FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S with other drugs.
Finish the entire prescribed course of FAROSTEAD TABLET 3'S, even if you start feeling better before completing it. Incomplete treatment can lead to incomplete eradication of the infection and potential antibiotic resistance. Drink plenty of fluids while on treatment with this drug. It helps to help prevent dehydration.
