Glimzab MV2 Tablet 15'S is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels.
Glimzab MV2 Tablet 15'S is a combination of three medicines: Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas, thereby lowering blood sugar. Metformin is a biguanide which works by decreasing glucose production in the liver and improving insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor which slows down the absorption of glucose from the intestine.
Common side effects of Glimzab MV2 Tablet 15'S include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and headache.
The safety of Glimzab MV2 Tablet 15'S during pregnancy has not been established. Therefore, it is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless clearly needed by the doctor.
