About INVISTA 100 TABLET 10'S

  • INVISTA 100 TABLET 10'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib. It is prescribed for adults and children over one year of age who have Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) or Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This medication is particularly effective for newly diagnosed cases of Ph+ chronic myeloid leukemia in its chronic phase as well as Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia, especially if other treatments have failed. CML is a type of blood cancer that results from genetic changes in the Philadelphia chromosome, leading to overproduction of white blood cells. On the other hand, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia is a common form of blood cancer in children, causing rapid multiplication and prolonged survival of certain white blood cells.
  • Common side effects associated with INVISTA 100 TABLET 10'S include diarrhea, headache, cough, rash, nausea, tiredness, vomiting, muscle pain, weakness, reduced appetite, and fluctuations in blood pressure. You should inform your doctor if these side effects persist or become bothersome.
  • Before starting treatment with this medication, inform your physician if you have liver or heart issues, breathing difficulties, chest pain, cough, hepatitis B infection, or any bleeding problems. It is crucial to tell your doctor if you are allergic to Dasatinib or any of its components. This medicine may cause a significant drop in the number of platelets, white blood cells, or red blood cells, so regular blood monitoring is necessary.
