Linares M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Linagliptin and Metformin. Linagliptin belongs to a class of medicines called DPP-4 inhibitors. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released from the pancreas and decreasing the amount of substances that raise blood sugar levels. Metformin belongs to a class of medicines called biguanides. It works by decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver, decreasing the absorption of glucose from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
