  • LUPROVA 11.25MG INJECTION contains the active ingredient Leuprolide acetate. It belongs to a group of medicines called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists. This medicine works by affecting the levels of certain hormones in your body. It is used to treat several conditions: prostate cancer in men, hormone-sensitive breast cancer in women, endometriosis (a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus), and uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths in the uterus) in women. This injection is also used to manage central premature puberty in children, which is when a child's physical development starts too early due to hormonal imbalances.
  • Do not use LUPROVA 11.25MG INJECTION if you have an allergy to Leuprolide acetate, or to other similar medicines like Goserelin or Triptorlin. Inform your doctor if you have any existing liver or kidney problems. Women with abnormal vaginal bleeding that has not been diagnosed should also inform their doctor. This injection is not to be used if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
