However, the enzyme PDE5 breaks down cGMP, resulting in a decrease in blood flow and loss of erection. MEGALIS 10MG TABLET 4'S inhibits PDE5, preventing the breakdown of cGMP, thereby allowing the cGMP levels to remain elevated. This sustained increase in cGMP levels promotes smooth muscle relaxation, vasodilation, and increased blood flow to the penis, facilitating the achievement and maintenance of an erection.
