METROMAX AM 50MG TABLET 10'S is primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It can also help prevent angina (chest pain).
METROMAX AM 50MG TABLET 10'S is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and Metoprolol. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, while Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that slows down the heart rate. Together, they lower blood pressure.
Common side effects of METROMAX AM 50MG TABLET 10'S include dizziness, fatigue, headache, swelling in the ankles or feet, and slow heart rate.
METROMAX AM 50MG TABLET 10'S can be taken with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day.
