How NEFROSAVE TABLET 15'S Works

• N-acetylcysteine is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body's most important internal antioxidants, which helps protect kidney cells from oxidative stress, a process thought to contribute to the progression of diabetic kidney disease.
• Taurine supports normal cell membrane stability and osmotic balance in kidney cells and has antioxidant properties of its own. Together, these two ingredients are intended to provide antioxidant support to the kidneys as an adjunct to standard treatment, not to replace blood sugar control, blood pressure management or other prescribed measures for diabetic kidney disease.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain are the most commonly reported effects. A rash or itching has also been reported. An allergic reaction is uncommon but needs immediate medical attention if it occurs, including swelling of the face or throat, hives, or difficulty breathing.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture, and out of the reach of children and pets.

• Take consistently as prescribed, alongside diabetes and blood pressure treatment, not instead of it
• Monitor blood sugar levels regularly while taking this tablet
• Tell the doctor about asthma before starting
• Stay well hydrated during treatment
• Attend regular kidney function checks as advised
• Seek medical advice for any allergic reaction or persistent gastrointestinal symptoms

• There is no specific food interaction established for this tablet. It can generally be taken with or without food.
