  • NUBLAST 100MG CAPSULE 5'S contains the active ingredient temozolomide, an Antitumor agent used to treat brain cancer. It's prescribed for glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, including glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients over three years old. These are aggressive brain cancers with low survival chances. Anaplastic astrocytoma is treated with NUBLAST 100MG CAPSULE 5'S or radiotherapy post-biopsy, while glioblastoma multiforme is treated with radiotherapy and NUBLAST 100MG CAPSULE 5'S, continued as maintenance therapy.
  • Temozolomide, the active component of NUBLAST 100MG CAPSULE 5'S, works by damaging the DNA of cancer cells, preventing them from growing and multiplying. This helps to slow the progression of the cancer and potentially extend survival.
