OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7'S is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially in patients whose blood sugar cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone. This medication helps to control blood sugar levels.
OXRAMET G XR 10/1/1000 TABLET 7'S is a combination of three medicines: Glimepiride, Metformin, and Voglibose. Glimepiride belongs to the sulfonylurea class, which lowers blood sugar by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and increases insulin sensitivity. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that lowers post-meal blood sugar levels.
