PRUCROS 20MG TABLET 10'S is an antihistamine that is used to relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, itchy nose, nasal secretion, nasal congestion, and red streaming eyes) and other forms of allergic conditions. It can also be used to treat itchy skin rashes (wheals or urticaria).
The effects of this medicine may be noticed as early as one hour after taking and last approximately 24 hours.
The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet (20 mg) taken by mouth, once a day. It should be taken with water on an empty stomach; one hour before eating or two hours after eating for the best effect. Do not self-medicate and always consult your doctor. He/she will decide the dose based on your condition.
It is advisable to avoid taking antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this medicine. It can make it harder for your body to absorb this medicine.
Yes, headache is a common side-effect of this medicine. Take rest, drink plenty of water and ask your doctor to recommend a suitable painkiller. If the headaches continue, let your doctor know.
Although PRUCROS 20MG TABLET 10'S is a non-drowsy antihistamine; however, it can still cause drowsiness in a few people. Make sure your reactions are normal before you drive, or before using tools or machines.
Avoid drinking fruit juices along with PRUCROS 20MG TABLET 10'S as this may affect the absorption of this medicine.
