Most side effects are temporary and resolve as your body gets used to the medication. However, if they continue or cause concern, it's important to seek medical advice.

Allergies
Do not use if you are allergic to its ingredientsR LOC 150 should not be taken by anyone with a known hypersensitivity to its active ingredient or any of its excipients.
There is limited data available on whether R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S can be used for the long term or not, but it is a relatively safe medicine. You should take it for the duration advised by your doctor. Do not take over-the-counter R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S for longer than 2 weeks unless advised by your doctor.
R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S may be taken with or without food. It can be taken once daily before bedtime or twice daily in the morning and before bedtime, as recommended.
R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S would be effective only if used for the right indication in the dose and the duration as advised by the doctor. In case you do not find any change in your condition while taking this medicine, please talk to your doctor. Do not change the dose or stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor.
Avoid taking aspirin and other painkillers used to treat arthritis, period pain, or headache. These medicines may irritate the stomach and make your condition worse. Contact your doctor who may suggest other medicines. Avoid coffee, tea, cocoa, and cola drinks because these contain ingredients that may irritate your stomach. Eat smaller, more frequent meals. Eat slowly and chew your food carefully. Try not to rush while having meals. You should stop or cut down on smoking.
Alcohol does not interfere with the working of R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S. But, you should avoid taking alcohol as it may further damage the stomach, delaying your recovery.
R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S starts working as fast as 15 minutes from when it is given. Its effect is seen to last all day or all night.
R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S and Omeprazole belong to different groups of medicines. While R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S belongs to histamine H2 antagonists group, Omeprazole belongs to proton pump inhibitors group. These medicines (R LOC 150MG TABLET 30'S and Omeprazole) work by reducing the amount of acid made by the stomach, to give relief of symptoms and allow healing to take place.
R LOC 150 is typically used as an anti‑allergic medicine when it is formulated as a second‑generation antihistamine such as levocetirizine or a similar agent. It helps relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, nasal itching, watery eyes) and may also be used for chronic urticaria (hives) as per local prescribing information. Because brand codes vary by country, you should confirm the exact active ingredient and approved uses from the package insert or a pharmacist.
You must follow the directions given on the product label or by your doctor or pharmacist. Do not guess the dose or frequency. Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water unless the label specifically instructs otherwise. Take it at the same time each day if prescribed for regular use. If you are unsure about the correct regimen for R LOC 150 in your region, consult a healthcare professional before starting or changing the way you take it.
Second‑generation antihistamines are generally less sedating than older antihistamines, but some people can still experience drowsiness, fatigue, or slowed reaction time. Until you know how R LOC 150 affects you, avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing tasks that require full alertness. If you feel unusually sleepy, dizzy, or unable to concentrate after taking it, speak with your doctor about whether you should continue the medicine or adjust the timing of doses.
Safety in pregnancy depends on the exact active ingredient and dose, which can vary between products labeled as R LOC 150. Some second‑generation antihistamines have more pregnancy safety data than others, but no medicine should be taken in pregnancy without medical advice. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you might be pregnant, consult your obstetrician or healthcare provider before starting or continuing R LOC 150. They will weigh the potential benefits against any possible risks and may suggest an alternative with better‑established safety data.
Many antihistamines pass into breast milk in small amounts, and their effects on a nursing infant can vary. Some second‑generation antihistamines are considered relatively compatible with breastfeeding when used at recommended doses, but this must be confirmed for the specific formulation sold as R LOC 150 in your area. If you are breastfeeding, discuss the use of R LOC 150 with your doctor or pediatrician. They may advise monitoring the baby for excessive sleepiness, irritability, or feeding difficulties, or may recommend an alternative medicine.
Caution is advised in patients with liver disease because many antihistamines are at least partly metabolized in the liver. In some cases, a lower dose or increased monitoring may be recommended, or a different medicine may be preferred. Since the exact formulation of R LOC 150 can differ, patients with mild, moderate, or severe hepatic impairment should not start this medicine without consulting a doctor. Your healthcare provider may order liver function tests and adjust your treatment plan accordingly.
Several second‑generation antihistamines are eliminated mainly through the kidneys, and reduced kidney function can lead to higher blood levels and increased risk of side effects. If you have chronic kidney disease, are on dialysis, or have a history of kidney impairment, you must seek medical advice before using R LOC 150. Your doctor may recommend a lower dose, a longer interval between doses, or a different medication altogether, depending on your kidney function and the specific active ingredient in your local product.
Alcohol can enhance the sedative effects of many antihistamines, even those considered non‑sedating, and may impair judgment, coordination, and reaction time. To reduce the risk of excessive drowsiness, dizziness, or accidents, it is generally advisable to avoid or minimize alcohol consumption while taking R LOC 150. If you choose to drink, do so cautiously and be aware of how the combination affects you. People with liver disease, a history of substance misuse, or those taking other sedating medicines should be especially careful.
If you have a known allergy to any antihistamine, to excipients such as lactose, dyes, or preservatives, or if you have previously experienced rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, or severe dizziness after taking similar medicines, inform your doctor and pharmacist before using R LOC 150. Always read the ingredient list on the package. If you develop symptoms of a serious allergic reaction after taking R LOC 150, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or severe rash, stop the medicine immediately and seek emergency medical care.
Use in children and older adults depends on the specific formulation, strength, and regulatory approval of R LOC 150 in your country. Pediatric dosing is highly age‑ and weight‑dependent and must not be guessed. Older adults may be more sensitive to side effects such as drowsiness, confusion, or urinary retention, especially if they take multiple medicines. A pediatrician should guide use in children, and a physician or geriatric specialist should guide use in older adults. Always follow professional advice and the approved labeling for your region.
