About SPNIB 20 TABLET 60'S

SPNIB 20 TABLET 60'S contains the active ingredient Dasatinib, a targeted therapy medication. It is prescribed for adults and children over one year old diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). This medication is also used to treat newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic phase, as well as Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia in patients who have shown resistance or intolerance to other treatments.
Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of cancer affecting the blood and bone marrow, characterized by an overproduction of white blood cells due to an abnormality in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, frequently observed in children, involves the rapid multiplication and prolonged survival of immature white blood cells called lymphocytes. SPNIB 20 TABLET 60'S works by inhibiting the activity of specific enzymes that promote the uncontrolled growth of these leukemia cells, thus helping to slow down the progression of the disease and improve the patient's overall condition.
Common side effects associated with SPNIB 20 TABLET 60'S may include diarrhea, headache, cough, skin rash, nausea, fatigue, vomiting, muscle pain, weakness, decreased appetite, and fluctuations in blood pressure (either high or low).
