How SUHAGRA 100MG TABLET 4'S Works

• Sildenafil blocks an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5, which normally breaks down a substance that relaxes blood vessels in the penis. Blocking this enzyme allows that substance to build up, which relaxes the blood vessels and lets more blood flow into the penis.
• This effect only happens with sexual stimulation. Sildenafil supports the body's own physical response to arousal rather than producing an erection independently of it.

Most side effects are mild and settle on their own as the body adjusts. Flushing, a sensation of warmth in the face, ears, neck or chest, is common because sildenafil widens blood vessels throughout the body, including outside the penis. Vision changes and prolonged erection are less common but need prompt attention if they happen. An erection lasting more than four hours, known as priapism, is a medical emergency and needs immediate treatment to avoid lasting damage. A sudden loss or marked change in vision, or a sudden decrease or loss of hearing, should also be reported to a doctor immediately.

• Store the tablets in their original pack, out of the reach of children and pets. Keep them at room temperature as stated on the current Cipla pack. Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Take the tablet around an hour before anticipated sexual activity, as directed by the prescriber
• Do not take this medicine more than once in twenty-four hours
• Never combine this medicine with nitrates or with recreational nitrite products
• Tell the prescriber about any heart condition, recent stroke, low blood pressure, or liver or kidney disease before starting
• Seek immediate medical attention for an erection lasting more than four hours
• Seek prompt medical attention for a sudden change in vision or hearing
• Limit alcohol while using this medicine, since alcohol can add to some side effects

• A heavy, fatty meal can delay how quickly the tablet starts to work, so taking it on a lighter stomach can give a more predictable onset.
• Grapefruit juice can raise sildenafil levels in the blood and is best avoided around the time of taking this medicine. Alcohol can add to some side effects, such as dizziness, and heavy drinking can itself affect the ability to get an erection.
