T-JAKI 10 TABLET 10'S contains the active substance Tofacitinib. It is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatoid drug (DMARDs) that belongs to the class of immunomodulators. It is used alone or with other medications to treat rheumatoid arthritis, a condition in which the body attacks its joints, causing pain, swelling, and loss of function, in adults who are unable to take or do not respond to other medications. It is also used to treat psoriatic arthritis, a condition that causes joint pain and swelling, and scales on the skin. Additionally, it is indicated for treating adult patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
Other uses of T-JAKI 10 TABLET 10'S include ankylosing spondylitis, an inflammatory disease of the spine. It's also used to treat active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis, a long-term disease that mainly causes pain and swelling of your joints in patients 2 years of age and older. This medication functions by decreasing the activity of your immune system. Before starting this medication, it's crucial to inform your physician if you have a severe blood infection, active tuberculosis, or liver problems.
