This medicine is used to treat specific types of brain cancer, including glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, such as glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma, in patients aged three years and older. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are known as aggressive brain cancers. For anaplastic astrocytoma, TEMODAL 250MG CAPSULE 5'S may be used alone or with radiotherapy after a biopsy. For glioblastoma multiforme, it is typically used together with radiotherapy first, and then continued on its own as ongoing treatment. This medicine works by damaging the DNA of cancer cells, which helps to slow down their growth and spread. It's an important part of managing these serious conditions.
  • Like all medicines, TEMODAL 250MG CAPSULE 5'S can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them.
