Tiptengio 25MG Tablet contains two active ingredients: Empagliflozin and Linagliptin. Empagliflozin works by blocking the sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT-2) enzyme located in the kidney's proximal tubules. Empagliflozin lowers renal reabsorption of glucose and increases urine excretion of glucose via inhibiting SGLT2. Linagliptin regulates blood sugar levels by boosting chemicals in the body that cause the pancreas to produce more insulin.
Take this medication at the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Take it all at once. It should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Tiptengio 25MG Tablet can be taken with or without food, although it is best to take it at the same time every day.
Take a Tiptengio 25MG Tablet as soon as you remember if you miss a dose. If your next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not increase the dose.
