  • TOCIRA 400 INJECTION contains the active ingredient tocilizumab. This medicine is a type of protein called a monoclonal antibody. This includes moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in adults, particularly when other treatments haven't worked well enough. It also treats giant cell arteritis, a condition causing inflammation in large arteries. For children, it's used for systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pJIA) in those aged 1 year and older.
