About VFEND 200MG TABLET 7'S
- VFEND 200MG TABLET 7'S contains Voriconazole, a powerful medicine used to treat severe, life-threatening fungal infections. It belongs to a group of medicines called antifungal drugs that work by stopping fungi from growing. This medicine is also given to people who are at high risk of getting fungal infections, like those who have received a bone marrow transplant, to help prevent them. Please note, this medicine is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.
- Do not take VFEND 200MG TABLET 7'S if you are allergic to Voriconazole or any other ingredients in this medicine. Before you start taking it, tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to similar antifungal medicines called azoles. It is also very important to inform your doctor if you have or have had liver problems, or if you have any heart conditions such as heart muscle disease (cardiomyopathy), an irregular or slow heartbeat, or a heart rhythm problem called 'long QTc syndrome' shown on an ECG.
- While taking this medicine, you must avoid direct sunlight and sun exposure. Always protect your skin by wearing appropriate clothing and using a high-SPF sunscreen, even on cloudy days.
