AllergiesDo not use Volibo R 0.3/0.5mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to it.
VOLIBO R is a combination medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels in adults when diet and exercise are not sufficient.
Take VOLIBO R as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken orally with meals to maximize its effectiveness in controlling blood sugar levels after eating.
Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. If these persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
It is generally not recommended to take VOLIBO R during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor to discuss safer alternatives.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
VOLIBO R can interact with other medications. Inform your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, and herbal products you are taking before starting VOLIBO R.
Store VOLIBO R at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children.
VOLIBO R contains a combination of Voglibose and Repaglinide as its active ingredients.
Voglibose inhibits the breakdown of complex sugars, leading to a slower and lower rise in blood sugar levels after meals. Repaglinide stimulates the release of insulin from the pancreas.
Symptoms of an overdose may include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal discomfort. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose.
Alcohol consumption can affect blood sugar levels and may increase the risk of side effects. It's best to consult your doctor about alcohol consumption while taking VOLIBO R.
Follow the dietary recommendations provided by your doctor or a registered dietitian. Generally, a balanced diet with controlled carbohydrate intake is recommended.
If you experience symptoms like sweating, trembling, dizziness, or confusion, consume a quick source of sugar like glucose tablets, juice, or candy. Monitor your blood sugar and consult your doctor for further guidance.
No, VOLIBO R is not known to be addictive.
VOLIBO R starts working relatively quickly to lower post-meal blood sugar levels, but the exact time can vary. Consistent use as prescribed is important for optimal results.
