XMALON 25 TABLET 10'S can weaken your bones and increase your risk of fractures (a condition called osteoporosis). Your provider might ask you to do a bone mineral density (BMD) test while taking this medicine to ensure that your bones are healthy and strong.
Exemestane is generally given to you only if you have gone through menopause. However, some people find that they start to have periods again after taking XMALON 25 TABLET 10'S. If this happens to you, it’s important to use reliable contraception. Talk to your doctor if your periods start again or if there is any chance that you maybe are pregnant. XMALON 25 TABLET 10'S is not recommended during pregnancy.
XMALON 25 TABLET 10'S is not approved for use in men, as it is specifically designed to treat hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
