Chronic Myeloid Leukemia is a type of blood cancer characterized by the overproduction of white blood cells due to alterations in the Philadelphia chromosome. Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a common blood cancer affecting children, involves the rapid multiplication and prolonged survival of white blood cell lymphocytes.
