Serious side effects may include muscle weakness, muscle twitches, palpitations, lung irritation, failure of the liver to function, adrenal gland problems, abnormal heart rhythm, heart attack, changes in the electrocardiogram, serious allergic reactions with difficulty in swallowing or breathing, swollen face, lips, tongue, or throat, itchy rash, and bone loss. Common side effects may include fluid in legs or feet, low blood potassium, increased liver function test results, high blood pressure, urinary tract infection, diarrhea, high fat levels in the blood, chest pain, irregular heartbeat, heart failure, rapid heart rate, severe infections, bone fracture, indigestion, blood in urine, and rash.

This medication should be taken as prescribed by the doctor and it should be taken in an empty stomach. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and the patient is advised to eat after 1hr after consuming the medication.
This medication does not cure prostate cancer and it is used to treat prostate cancer which has spread to other parts of the body. It is usually given with steroid medication to lower the chances of side effects. This medication is prescribed at an early stage of disorder, it is used along with testosterone lowering treatment.
It is not recommended in the patients with severe liver conditions as it can worsen the situation. Inform the doctor if the patient has liver disorders before taking this medication.
There are no known negative interactions of ABIRAT TABLET 120'S with other drugs.
Inform the doctor if the patient has any liver, blood pressure, heart disorders, diabetes and medication taken for different medical conditions before taking this medication. The medicine should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. This medication should be taken orally and it should be taken in an empty stomach. It should not be taken with food and swallow the tablet as a whole with water without breaking them. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and the patient is advised to eat after 1hr after consuming the medication. Blood pressure, potassium levels, liver function tests should be monitored regularly while taking this medication.
