About BDBRUT CAPSULE 30'S

  • BDBRUT CAPSULE 30'S contains the active ingredient Ibrutinib. It is prescribed to treat various blood cancers, including mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia, and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL). These cancers affect white blood cells called lymphocytes, which are crucial components of the immune system. These conditions differ based on the location of cancer development, the specific type of lymphocytes involved, and other distinguishing characteristics.
  • BDBRUT CAPSULE 30'S is also indicated for treating chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGvHD) when systemic therapies have failed. cGvHD can occur following allogeneic stem cell transplantation, where a patient receives stem cells from a donor. In GvHD, the donor cells recognize the patient's cells as foreign and initiate an immune attack. Before starting BDBRUT CAPSULE 30'S, it is essential to inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders, infections, liver problems, or heart conditions, or if you have any intolerance to specific sugars. This medication is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents.
  • It is also important to inform your physician if you have recently undergone or are scheduled to undergo any surgical procedures. Your physician might advise temporarily discontinuing BDBRUT CAPSULE 30'S before a planned surgical or medical intervention. During treatment with this medication and for at least one month after your last dose, it's crucial to use effective methods of birth control.
